How much does shipping cost and do I need to be at home?

Regular post takes up to 8 business days and costs $9.99. Express post takes up to 4 business days and costs $19.99. BOOK FACE does not ship internationally online, however you can directly contact a store to arrange for a quote.

You don't need to be home – all Australia Post parcels are sent with Authority to Leave, meaning that a Postie or driver can leave a parcel at a recipient’s home if nobody is home. The driver will only leave the parcel if there’s a safe place on the property. If you prefer that a parcel require a signature on delivery, let us know in the Notes field at checkout, and we'll send it with signature required.

You can also pick up your order in store at BOOK FACE St Ives.

What payment options do I have online?

We accept VISA and MasterCard. Unfortunately, gift cards and vouchers are not currently accepted for online purchases.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Yes, we offer free gift wrapping as an option at check out. Price stickers are also removed and a gift exchange bookmark is given alongside a receipt.

Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

BOOK FACE will gladly exchange items, excepting second-hand, Rare books and sale items, within 7 days of purchase and with the original receipt. Gift exchanges may be made within 14 days with a valid Gift Exchange Card. Exchanges will only be offered on items in saleable condition. A returned item may be exchanged for an alternate item or store credit.

BOOK FACE offers refunds only in the case of faulty items, for example, if a new book is mis-bound (missing pages, pages not in order, etc), and only with valid proof of purchase either in the form of a register receipt or Gift Exchange Card.

BOOK FACE will always comply with current consumer protection legislation including Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and Fair Trading legislation in relevant states of Australia.

If you have bought your items through our website and have received the wrong item, the items has arrived damaged or faulty, or orders not meet the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, please contact info@bookfacestores.com.au with a photo of the items and your order number.
