Love Your Bookshop Day is back on Saturday 10 October, celebrating bookshops, booksellers and the conversations that lead us to great books. Visit our stores and enter the chance to win prizes, gift cards and more!

For young readers we have a Where’s Wally? scavenger hunt and the Kids’ Colouring Competition! Colour in the bookish scenes around the page, then use the blank space to draw your very own perfect bookshop. It could have towering shelves, cosy reading corners, books floating through the air, a resident bookshop dog or something completely unexpected. It’s up to you! There are three $100 LYB Gift Cards to be won.

This year, we’re asking readers to step away from the algorithms and ask a bookseller. Pick up a Match Me card and give it to a bookseller to find your next great read. The Personal Penguins have returned with an exclusive Book Nook to home your little Penguin as well as a chance to win $1,000 to spend in store.

Whether you read all the time, want to get back into reading, need something completely different or are searching for the perfect gift, your local bookseller is a very good place to start.
