Houdini the octopus lives in an aquarium. She spends a lot of time hiding because she doesn't like the way visitors bang on her tank. She doesn't like that she can't feel the sun on her tentacles or the wind rippling through the water. It's a dull existence for a creature with nine brains. Houdini misses being home in the Wild Sea. Then one day she meets someone who is different to the other visitors. Someone whose busy brain buzzes with so many thoughts, whose energy makes Houdini's skin tingle with joy. Houdini has never met someone like Juno before. When the Sea's singing becomes too strong to resist, Houdini plans her escape. But she can't get there on her own. Can Houdini make Juno understand, before it's too late?
