Off the page... and into trouble. At school, Jeremiahs always in trouble for drawing during class and feels helpless and wimpy in the halls. But on the page, Jeremiah has Laugh Riot, a fearless character who helps him take revenge on his mean teachers and bullies in funny ways. Laugh Riot is everything Jeremiah isntbrave, cool and able to fight back. Then, one day, Jeremiahs least favourite teacher pushes him too far... and the next day, the teacher isnt in school because there was an accident that caused his house to catch fire. After this, Jeremiah starts to notice that the revenges he imagines for Laugh Riot are starting to come to life in very harmful ways. Is it possible that Laugh Riot isnt staying on the page? And what happens if Laugh Riot starts to have a mind of his own? The character Jeremiahs drawn might not be wimpy... but he might be evil.
