Join us for an in-conversation event with Chris Hammer, author of the bestselling Australian crime fiction novel Scrublands, when he visits Erina Library to celebrate the publication of his latest thriller, Silver.

Silver is the sequel to Chris’ popular novel Scrublands, which introduced us to journalist Martin Scarsden who has spent half his life running away from his past. In Silver Martin risks returning to his hometown to start a new life with grilfriend Mandy Blonde. Will he finally put the past behind him or will the past finally catch-up?

Chris Hammer’s writing reflects his extensive career as a journalist covering Australian federal politics and international affairs. He has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Charles Stuart University and a master’s degree in international relations from the Australian National University.

If you loved Scrublands don’t miss out on chatting with Chris as he launches his new thriller on the Central Coast.
