Please join us alongside our friends at Words on the Waves as they celebrate their spring edition of Late Night Lit, a trademark evening of spoken word, poetry, literary readings and other surprises.
Settle in to hear two very different but equally special guest authors share words firsthand from their latest works. Born in the US and raised between Indonesia and Singapore, Tiffany Tsao is a former academic turned award-winning literary translator. Her latest novel But Won’t I Miss Me is already our favourite fiction of 2026. Part feminist horror, part speculative fantasy, utterly original.
Grace Rouvray is a writer, actor, producer and podcast host. Her debut memoir Is It Too Early To Bitch? is a love letter to life-changing friendship. Grace and Katie are best friends for 13 years… until tragedy strikes. We talk about romance as life’s greatest love stories, but what if the rarest thing we’ll ever find is a soulmate in a friend? The results are hilarious, heartbreaking and deeply honest.
As usual, we will also welcome an impressive lineup of local writers and artists to share some new work with you as open mic participants. If you’re interested in participating, please email program@wordsonthewaves.com.au with a sample of your work.
To purchase your tickets please visit this link. Book Face Erina will have copies of Tiffany and Grace’s books available on the night for purchase.
